Feel like Throwing in the Towel?

Today’s Scripture: One thing I ask from the LORD, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple. Psalms 27:4 (NIV)

Song To Meditate On: Psalms 27 – Donnie McClurkin (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QeSyCc7zlgI)

Have you ever felt like giving up? Have you ever felt like you should quit or just run away? Have you ever felt like a hypocrite because your life is not where it should be spiritually? Have you ever been at that place where you don’t know what to pray or even want to read your Bible? I surely have felt like this several times and know a few persons who have too.

It is very important that we read the Word of God and pray and fast consistently but even then, we sometimes get to the place where we feel like giving up or throwing in the towel. If you ever get to that place, I pray that God will give you the strength to dwell in His house forever. It was David that said “I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked.” Here are a few things that keep me going:

·         Live a Purpose Driven Life – Ladies when you know what God chose you to do with your life, do it and do it with all diligence and perseverance. I personally find that when I feel like throwing in the towel I think of all the people that may never hear about Christ or those who are in need of an inspiration or my family members and friends who are not yet Christians, who look to me for an example or spiritual support. This gives me the strength and a reason to carry on.

·         Ensure that your conscience is not seared – Ensure that your spirit is always open to hearing from God. 1 Timothy 4: 2 tells us of those persons whose conscience will be seared with hot iron. God speaks to us directly or through others, and it is our conscience that pricks or judges us when we do wrong. We can get to that place where we do the wrong thing over and over until our conscience pricks us no more. Ladies ensure you never get to that place where your conscience becomes seared.

·         Remain Humble – Maintaining a spirit of humility is so important when we feel like giving up. The Bible tells us that we should walk humbly before God and clothe ourselves, with humility toward one another, for “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” Ladies if you humble yourselves you will find that God will give you the grace to pull through but you will also find that men will be more merciful and understanding towards you even when you mess up.

·         Have an accountability partner – One of the things that Satan wants us to do is to keep secrets from each other but the Bible tells us to confess our sins one to another. Find a trusted friend who will help you pray about your situation and who will encourage you to do what is right.

·         Attend Church – I remember when I just got baptized my Pastor told me that no matter what happens do not stop coming to church. Ladies believe me, this works. Many times I think it is my last day but when I go into that service and receive a word or get involved in some true worship, I find that extra boost to carry on a little longer.

·         Get Involved in Church – Whatever you have to do even if it means cleaning the sanctuary, volunteer to do something at church and do as a ministry unto God. This will keep you going back as you know that it is something God requires of you and it will benefit others.

Have A God Filled Day Ladies

Let’s Pray,
Lord, I pray for each and every person who feels like giving up this morning. I pray God that you will give us the strength to carry on. I pray that you will give us the desire to live a little longer. I pray against every spirit of depression, discouragement, sadness, doubt or fear that makes us feel like we want to give up.
In Jesus Name
Amen

Weep! Your Joy Will Come

Today’s Scripture:   Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning. Psalms 30:5 (NLT)

I often tell my friends that whenever I am overwhelmed, disappointed or hurt I cry (more like bawl) then I move on. Ladies, for me whenever I am going through something that I cannot deal with I find that crying helps so I find a nice quiet place, preferably my bed, I cover my head, I bawl and somehow my burden feels lighter.

According to Dr Judith Orloff author of Emotional Freedom “tears are your body’s release valve for stress, sadness, grief, anxiety, and frustration.” Dr. William Frey at the Ramsey Medical Center in Minneapolis discovered that emotional tears contain stress hormones which get excreted from the body through crying. Additional studies also suggest that crying stimulates the production of endorphins, our body’s natural pain killer and “feel-good” hormones.”

So you see ladies when the Bible tells us that weeping will lead to rejoicing its happens naturally and spiritually as well. You might be going through a lot of stress right now, maybe a death of a love one, a divorce, financial difficulty or even emotional stress. Rest assured that things will get better overtime; it usually works out as God is in control and He will provide a way out of your situation.

Added to the awesome faithfulness of God, He also orchestrated it so that you get relief from literally weeping. Now I understand why when my Dad died my natural reaction was to cry. I am also very grateful that I can cry freely when I want to. Some persons may view crying openly as weakness but crying has the psychological benefit of lifting our mood and helping us to deal with painful situations. Therefore ladies, do not feel bad about crying because crying relieves the stress and replaces it with joy.

Weep ladies because your joy will surely come.

Have A God Filled Day Ladies

Let’s Pray,

Father, thank you for the privilege of crying. Thank you for assuring us that joy will come after we cry. Thank you that you have given us the gift of tears that relieves us emotional grief and stress. Lord we bless you for thinking of us.

In Jesus Name
Amen

Hero

Today’s Scripture:  When the men were returning home after David had killed the Philistine, the women came out from all the towns of Israel to meet King Saul with singing and dancing, with joyful songs and with timbrels and lyres. As they danced, they sang: “Saul has slain his thousands, and David his tens of thousands.” 1 Samuel 18:6-7 (NIV)

Song To meditate on: Hero – Mariah Carey (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0IA3ZvCkRkQ)

A hero as defined by the Merriam-Webster dictionary is a person who is admired for great or brave acts or fine qualities.

Each person however have an opinion of who is their hero, for some there are make believe heroes such as , Spider man or Batman, these characters spin a web or crawl up on buildings to save people. Other people consider a fireman or a police man a hero because they put their lives at risk to save others. Others consider their parents as heroes because of the values and respect that they have instilled in them. In today’s Bible reading David is considered a hero because he killed tens of thousands of men including Goliath. He was seen as a brave and courageous man, a man of valour hence to the people of Israel he was their hero.

Despite the differing opinions of who a hero is, heroes usually possess the following characteristics:

·         Selfless – A hero is less concerned about what might happen to them and shows more concern for other people.
·         Courageous - A hero possesses lots of courage. They are willing to do whatever it takes, no matter how dangerous, to get the job done. They do without showing any fear
·         Self-Sacrifice - A hero will, in doing what needs to be done, sacrifice him or herself to make it happen.
·         Will and determination - A hero also shows a lot of will and determination. He or she will not give up until the job gets done.

Some modern day heroes are those who fight for world peace, human rights and against human trafficking. These include Desmond Tutu, Mother Theresa, Martin Luther King Jr, Marcus Garvey and many more

This morning however, I want you to know that there is a hero inside of each of us, whether you are a mother, a wife, a pastor or just a lady who wants to follow her dreams or help someone along the way. The Lord God made us so that we can overcome obstacles, He gave us courage and even more He is always with us fighting our battles for us. As Mariah Carey said “There's a hero if you look inside your heart, you don't have to be afraid of what you are. There’s an answer if you reach into your soul and the sorrow that you know will melt away” This sorrow ladies is replaced by the hero within you that gives you the strength to carry on.

Do not be mistaken, the Lord is always with us fighting for us but we must find the will and determination to carry on. I encourage you today to find that hero that lies deep within you and carry on.

Have A God Filled Day Ladies

Let’s Pray,
Oh Lord, thank you for strengthen us so that we can overcome the obstacles that sometimes seek to deter us. Help us to find that hero deep within us so that we can help those who need us and so that we can carry on even when we are discouraged.

There is Hope

Today’s Scripture:  “For there is hope for a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that its shoots will not cease. Though its root grow old in the earth, and its stump die in the soil, yet at the scent of water it will bud and put out branches like a young plant. But a man dies and is laid low; man breathes his last, and where is he? Job  4:17-10

Song To meditate on: There is Hope – Mark Lowry (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EMckD0yk0YA)

There is a famous Latin saying- dum vita est spes est - while there is life; there is hope. It means that as long as you live, there is hope of improvement so you should not give up.

The scripture above tells us that there is hope for a tree, even though it has been cut down. Just recently I passed a dry tree stump, however there was a lush bunch of dark green leaves on it that caught my attention. I figured this tree was cut down but because it was watered it started springing again.

Sometimes you find yourself in situations where you feel so beaten. You just want to throw in the towel and give up, but ladies be encouraged, once you have life there is hope of a way out. Like the plant you can bud again. You can bud again but you have to believe - you have to believe that what God has started in you will be perfected. You have to believe in yourself knowing that where there is a will, there is a way.

Don’t be discouraged, your future is not determined by your past. No matter what you are going through at this time, no matter what setbacks have come your way, your future can be a good one. Proverbs promises us “Surely there is a future, and your hope will not be cut off.”

Today ladies, thank God that you’re alive because all you need is to have brathe in your body to bounce back.

Have A God Filled Day Ladies

Let’s Pray,

Lord we thank you today for life, knowing that with life we have hope. Knowing you hold our future in your hand. Lord once again we thank you for the hope that you have given to us.
In Jesus Name

Amen

Do Not Resist The Process

Today’s Scripture: “But he knows where I am going. And when he tests me, I will come out as pure as gold. Job 23:10 (NLT)

Sometimes in our lives we have so much trouble and things don’t go like we plan all the time. We pray about it and we are sure God has spoken to us about it and has approved it however the dots are not connecting. Some would say that God is being unfair to them.

Ladies I encourage you this morning to take comfort in today’s scripture. You see ladies, God has ultimate control over our lives and even though we are not able to see it he has a perfect plan.

Job said these words when He was going through some serious trials. He lost everything including His family and all his riches. However, Job knew God and he acknowledged that God has ultimate control over His life therefore He knew that what He was going was a purpose. He knew that in the end he would come out as pure gold.

Ladies there is no need to worry because God knows all things and that setback might just be a setup for something better. Therefore if you are having setbacks, disappointments and trials, just hold on to God knowing that He knows exactly where you are going and that it’s a process He is taking you through.

Do not resist the process as it is necessary to ensure that is complete because only when the process as ended you will see the pure gold.

Have A God Filled Day Ladies

Let’s Pray,

Mighty God thank you for the process, help us to endure and to stay strong during this time as we trust you to make us as pure gold.

In Jesus Name

Amen

Don’t Let Your Ship Sink 2

Song To Meditate On: His Strength is Perfect (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sO-7OZJ17M0)

“The ship doesn't sink because it is in the water, it sinks only when the water gets inside of it. You can sail through the storms of life as long as you don't allow the elements of the storm to get inside of you.” This was a quote from one of Bishop TD Jakes, a very popular televangelist sermon.
Yesterday we spoke about some elements of the storms of life that you should not allow inside of your ship. You might be asking how we secure our ships so that these elements do not come in:
1.   Be alert and sober minded (1 Peter 5:8) – Ladies it is important that you check your ship for holes, broken doors or any space that water can come in as this will cause your ship to sink. In other words it is important that you do a regular assessment of yourself, your walk with God, your marriage and your dreams to see if there are any areas of neglect that will allow the elements to come in and destroy.
2.   Be Prayerful (1 Thess 5:17) – During the storms it is always important to call for backup. Mayday! Mayday! Alert the persons on shore that there is a storm and you may need help. God is our backup during the hard times, He is our helper and He will take us safely through the storm. As such pray and let God know what your plans are. Ask him for help in advance and during the storm instead of being doubtful or fearful petition God.
3.   Stay Positive (Phil 4:13) – Sinking is not an option so always stay positive believing that God will give you the strength to weather the storm. The scripture reminds us that we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength. Never forget that His strength is perfect even when we are weak.
Ladies today despite whatever storms you are going through be determined that you are not going to allow the ship to sink.
Have A God Filled Day Ladies
Let’s Pray,
Lord we thank that your strength perfect and we can depend on you to take us through our storms. Therefore Lord as we main vigilant and prayerful we leave it in your safe and loving arms.

Don’t Let Your Ship Sink

Song To Meditate On: Guard Your Heart – Steve Green (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vx65zb8AQpo)

“The ship doesn't sink because it is in the water, it sinks only when the water gets inside of it. You can sail through the storms of life as long as you don't allow the elements of the storm to get inside of you.” This was a quote from one of Bishop TD Jakes, a very popular televangelist sermon.

Ladies, this morning I want you to reflect on how secure your ship is while it is in the water. Your ship can be likened to your dreams, your spiritual walk with God or even your marriage. All of our ships will be shaken at some time or the other, all of us will face the storms of life however, it is important that we keep our ships secure by not allowing the elements to get inside the ship. The following are some elements of the storms of life that you should not allow inside of your ship:

Anger – It was J.G.Holland who said that “calmness is the cradle of power.”  Whenever you get angry it clouds your thinking and causes you to respond in an irrational. Many men have committed murder because of anger, many dreams did not come to fruition because of anger, and many relationships come to an end because of anger. Do not allow anger to sink your ship, count to ten, exercise self-control and calm down before you react.

Unforgiveness –Forgiveness is a command from Christ himself (Matt 6:14-16). The beauty about forgiving however, is that when we forgive we are helping ourselves. Lewis B. Smedes wrote in his book, Forgive and Forget, "When you release the wrongdoer from the wrong, you cut a malignant tumor out of your inner life. You set a prisoner free, but you discover that the real prisoner was yourself." Forgiving someone who has done us wrong releases us from anger, bitterness and resentment that previously imprisoned us.

Fear – F.E.A.R. is said to mean False Evidence Appearing Real. Ladies many times we allow fear to paralyze us and lose out on the many blessings God has prepared for us. We often think of “what ifs” and allow the things that we tell ourselves, that are not even real to prevent us from realizing our full potential.

Doubt/ Unbelief – In order for God to move on our behalf we have to first believe. Mark 11:23 says “I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart.” As such ladies, if you do not believe in your dreams, your marriage or that you can make it spiritually, rest assured you will fail. Your ship will sink.

Negative Talk – Do not sink your ship with negative talk. Negative talk can either come from your own lips or from people around you. The Bible tells us that life and death are in the power of our own tongues, so do not ever think that words are just wind. Words have life and they can sink your ship.

Ladies always check your ship to ensure that there is no way for the elements of the storm to come in. This is the only way you can keep your ship afloat. Tomorrow we will talk about how to secure you’re ship to prevent it from sinking.

Have A God Filled Day Ladies

Let’s Pray,
Mighty God, thank you for your protection during our storms, help us to guard our ships by not letting the elements of the storms overcomes. Take us through safely.
In Jesus Name

Amen

Complimentary Words

Main Scripture: Words kill, words give life; they’re either poison or fruit… Prov 18:21 (The Msg)

Words are powerful beyond measure, they can either be used to build you or break you. Recently I visited the Doctor’s office; I was feeling down as I had heard some disappointing news. In the office while answering some questions from the doctor, I was crouching in my seat, kind of feeling sorry for myself. While he was examining me he spoke about my level of confidence, to my surprise he thought I was very confident, he told me how from the moment I walked in my presence was felt as it was obvious I was in control. Now this could be no further from the true as I was feeling so off. Whether he was lying or not however, I noticed that when I sat back in the chair I was sitting tall, more confident than before and my mood changed despite my problems still being there.

This story illustrates what a good compliment can do for a person. A compliment is defined as an expression of praise, admiration or congratulation. A good compliment makes a person feel good about themselves. A sincere compliment can make a person feel like they can take over the world. It reaffirms them and makes them happy.

Ephesians 4:29 encourages us to use our words to build others instead, of tearing them down. The Bible also tells us that in Proverbs 18:21 that our words are can either be life or death. No one wants to be around someone who is always tearing them down or blaming them for something. Everyone needs a little praise or admiration now and then.

Ladies my challenge to you today is to compliment others, it could mean the difference between life and death to someone.

Have A God Filled Day Ladies
Let’s Pray,
Mighty God we give you praise this morning. We thank you for all your goodness towards us. We pray today that you will help us to sincerely compliment others. Direct us to those who need a word of praise or admiration.

Showing Appreciation

Main Scripture: In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1 Thess 5:18

Song of Meditation: Kind and Generous by Natalie Merchant (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-P6FYh7LOKk)

Today’s scripture encourages us to give thanks in all circumstances but how many times do we forget to thank God and also to thank those around us. This happens every so often yet showing appreciation encourages those who are nice to you to continue being nice. In other words “encouragement sweetens labour”.

According to Todd Smith, author of Little Things do Matter “If a person takes the time to express their heart-felt appreciation for something we have done, it boosts our spirit, passion, and purpose.  It builds our self-confidence, self-esteem and our entire self-image. It gives us energy and motivation to work harder and do more.

Research also shows that showing appreciation is beneficial to the person who is showing the appreciation and the person receiving the appreciation:

·         Those who feel more appreciated tend to have more positive attitudes and show greater levels of motivation to keep "earning" that appreciation
·         Those who maintain a sense of gratitude enjoy many benefits for health and wellness, both physical and emotional.
·         Showing appreciation strengthens social bonds,
·         Feeling and expressing gratitude for the great people in your life can also help you to be more aware of the great resources they are for you
·         Showing gratitude for something someone has done, will not only enhance their lives, but will enrich yours as well.
·          It’s a free form of currency. People will do more for recognition than they will for money. If you are in a leadership position, remember that people will work harder and do more if they know they will be recognized for their accomplishments.

Ladies develop an attitude of gratitude. Show those around you that you appreciate them by writing a thank you letter, giving them a smile, buying them a present, giving them a hug or just saying “thank you”

Have A God Filled Day Ladies

Let’s Pray,
Lord this morning first and foremost we give you thanks for everything that you have done for us. Fill us with a spirit of gratitude so that we will give thanks in all circumstances.

Amazing Grace

Main Scripture: Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked. Psalms 82:4 (KJV)

Song of Meditation: Amazing Grace – Leann Rimes (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iT88jBAoVIM)

“Amazing Grace” is an old Christian hymn that I am sure most if not all of us know very well. It was written by John Newton with the message that forgiveness and redemption are possible regardless of sin committed and that the soul can be delivered from despair through the mercy of God.

Like most of us I have heard this song so often and even sung it myself many times. It is one of those songs that I tell people must be sung at my funeral. Recently, however I saw a Salvation Army commercial that used this song with a twist.

In the commercial persons from various ethnicity and backgrounds who have faced struggles including drug addiction and homelessness recite the song. In soft but earnest tones they say, “Amazing grace, how sweet the sound that saved a crack head, an alcoholic, a drug addict, a meth freak … a wretch … like me.

I once was homeless, broken, sad, just lost. But now I’m sober, I’m happy, I’m found …” And then the last man looks directly into the camera and says, “ … was blind but now I see.”

Things have been able to turn around for these people with the help of the Salvation Army and now they are able to testify.

The twist to the song reminded me that it was God’s amazing grace that brought all of us to the place that we are now. It was His amazing grace that caused us to have the resources that we are blessed with. We might not have been homeless or drug addicts like the persons in the ad but if it was not for God’s grace and mercies we could have been in similar or worst positions.

This morning I am really grateful to God for his mercies towards me but even more the importance of helping others less fortunate than I am resonates within me. Like the Salvation Army we can play our part in helping someone to turn their life around.

Ladies, you might not be able to provide shelter to someone but you can donate your clothes, your time, your money, your skills and your talent or even offer kind words to someone who needs it. God did not give us such grace for us to keep it to ourselves and our families. As Albert Pike once said “what we have done for ourselves alone dies with us; what we have done for others and the world remains and is immortal.”

Have A God Filled Day Ladies

Let’s Pray,

Sweet Jesus, thank you for another day. Thank you for your sweet amazing grace that is so readily available so that we might have salvation. Thank you God for taking many of us out of the dumps and have blessed us with jobs, homes and families. Lord help us today to be helpful to someone. Soften our hearts so that we will have no problem donating our time, treasures and talents to help someone who is in need. Again we give you thanks.

In Jesus Name

Amen

The God In Us

Main Scripture: Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other. No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us. 1 John 4:11-12 (NLT)

Song of Meditation: The Last Jesus – Kirk Franklin (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ShR9Zb1Uepc)

I read the story below and it reminded me that God is never too far away. No matter what we are going through, even though it might feel like He is not close.  He is always with us, because He lives in us. As the scripture says “if we love each other,…his love is brought to full expression in us.” Show someone love today and you will see God.
I pray that the story below inspires and encourage you to be kind to someone so that God can become visible
An Afternoon In The Park
There once was a little boy who wanted to meet God. He knew it was long trip to where God lived, so he packed his suitcase with Twinkies and a six-pack of root beer and he started his journey.

When he had gone about three blocks, he met an old woman. She was sitting in the park just staring at some pigeons. The boy sat down next to her and opened his suitcase. He was about to take a drink from his root beer when he noticed that the old lady looked hungry, so he offered a Twinkie. She gratefully accepted it and smiled at him. Her smile was so pretty that the boy wanted to see it again, so he offered a root beer. Once again she smiled at him. The boy was delighted!

They sat there all afternoon eating and smiling, but they never said a word.

As it grew dark, the boy realized how tired he was and he got up to leave, but before he had gone more than a few steps, he turned around, ran back to the old woman and gave her a hug. She gave him her biggest smile ever.

When the boy opened the door to his own house a short time later, his mother was surprised by the look of joy on his face.

She asked him, "What did you do today that made you so happy?"

He replied, "I had lunch with God." But before his mother could respond, he added, "You know what? She's got the most beautiful smile I've ever seen!"

Meanwhile, the old woman, also radiant with joy, returned to her home.

Her son was stunned by the look of peace on her face and he asked, "Mother, what did you do today that made you so happy?"

She replied, "I ate Twinkies in the park with God." But before her son responded, she added, "You know, he's much younger than I expected."

Word

Main Scripture: …the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. John 6:63 (KJV)

Song of Meditation: One Word – Kurt Carr (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yLmzIDMf3wM)

Have you ever been having a bad day, worried about something or maybe in between decisions or trying to figure out something? Then you went to church and listened to the preacher, or you were reading the Bible, reading a book or listening to a motivational speaker and you heard or read something and automatically you figured it out, or you were encouraged or the solution came.

As Christians we would say that we received a word or we received a Rhema word. Ladies receiving a timely word is extremely valuable in our everyday walk with God. Without receiving this encouragement or revelation from time to time we would never overcome the obstacles and challenges we face daily. As such it is very important for us to read and listen to materials that are uplifting, positive and inspirational.

A very good source to turn to is the Word of God. The word of God comforts, inspires guides, heals, renews, restores, corrects and provides revelations. As the scripture above reminds us it is spirit and life. The Psalmist Kurt Carr puts it like this “One word is all we need to destroy captivity, and break the chains that are binding.”

Today ladies if you are down, if your spirit is weary, if you are about to give up, if there is a tough task ahead at work today, before you leave your house, reach for the scriptures. I assure you, you will receive a Rhema word tailored made for you, straight from God that will encourage you and lift your spirit. This will take you through the rest of your day.

Have A God Filled Day Ladies

Let’s Pray,

Lord we thank you for your Word. Thank you for speaking to us, inspiring us, healing, restoring and renewing us with your word. I pray today God that you will give each one of us reading today a word that will take us through this day so that we will face whatever obstacle may come. God we give you glory, honour and praise for being so faithful to us.

Remind Me

Main Scripture:  Luke 24:13 -34

Song of Meditation: Remind Me Dear Lord (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-4i7Dggk5pU)

Today’s Bible reading tells us of how Jesus appeared to two believers travelling on the road after His resurrection. These two men were very sad because Jesus was crucified and now His body was missing. These men did not remember the prophecies that were told that Jesus would die and then rise on the third day. They were so focused on their disappointments that they missed it all together. They were even walking away from the fellowship of believers in Jerusalem. They were so distraught that they did not even recognize Jesus.

These men were also disappointed because they thought Jesus was not the Messiah since He was crucified. They were too focused on this disappointment to realize that his death was significant in Him saving us from sin.

Ladies we are just like these followers of Jesus. Many times we are so focused on our disappointments and problems, we tend to forget the promises that God made to us. How many times have we cursed the same spouse that we fell in love with and thanked God for because it was a match made in Heaven and we know that God joined us with them for a reason? How many times have we told our children that we are sorry that they were born despite the fact that we know they are a blessing given to us by God? How many times do we curse the job that God provided for us so that we can have food on our tables? As humans, we tend to focus on our current problems and forget the original plan. This kind of thinking or action delays the plans of God or results in us missing the blessing that God has in store for us.

Therefore ladies before you focus on all the bad that is happening in your life pray and ask God to roll back the curtains of memories. Ask him to remind you of the original vision. Ask Him to remind you why He joined you with this man, why were you placed in this job? Ask Him to remind Him of the plan for your life.

Write down the vision and keep reminding yourself of it. Keep your eyes on the prize, do not be distracted by the negative events or the challenges that have come to sway you and remember that you can do all things through Christ that gives you strength.

Have A God Filled Day Ladies

Let’s Pray,

Father God thank you for your loving kindness and grace. Lord today we pray that you will remind us of your promises for our lives. Help us not to be ungrateful but to always remember that you love us and that you have a divine plan for our lives.

In Jesus Name

Amen
