Today’s Scripture: O Lord, thou art our
father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy
hand. Isaiah 64:8 (KJV)
We are all God’s creation, we all are the work of his hand, many of us however,
are caught in the trap of believing what we were told by those we allow to influence
us.
Many of us struggle with low self-esteem, low self-confidence, fear,
hatred and unforgiveness. Many of us believe that we are no better than what
our parents told us and we cannot see beyond the vision that was etched in our
minds by our circumstances and experiences or those of others.
This morning I encourage you to imagine yourself as God’s Creation:
Psalms 139:14 tells us that we are fearfully and wonderfully made by
God, this means that you were made distinct and unique, specially designed by
God for a purpose. Therefore, there is no need to feel bad because you are
different from someone else. You are God’s Master piece and you were designed
that way.
Genesis 1:31 further tells us that everything God had made was very
good. Therefore do not believe the lies that you are incompetent or you are
good for nothing. It was God who made you, in His image, for His purpose, for
His glory.
He did not make you with insecurities, low self-esteem, low
self-confidence or fear. He gave you power and a sound mind. He made you an
overcomer and a conqueror. He gives you peace and He loves you.
So today, whatever comes your way, whatever doubts, whatever
challenges, whatever disappointments be reminded that Your God’s Creation.

Lord we thank you for making us in
your own image, fearfully and wonderfully. Lord we pray that you will help us
to see the beauty in you creation knowing that you made us for your purpose and
glory.
