Nothing Just Happens

Main Scripture: For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)

Song To Meditate On: +Martha Munizzi - I Know The Plans (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NGKiGVuOpXo)

Have you ever tried to do something and it just doesn’t work, everywhere you turn there is a road block. No matter what you do, the pieces just don’t fit together and it is just wrought with difficulties.

There is a saying that goes “every disappointment is for a good.” The scripture above tells us that God has a plan for all our lives, plans to give you a hope and a future. Yes, sometimes the things that happen are not pleasant, they might hurt and cause pain but remember nothing just happens. Sometimes we don’t even understand why but in the end these same difficulties cause us to be stronger and enable us to deal with even worst situations. Ladies, Romans 8:28 remind us that “in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Therefore nothing just happens.

There are times when we try to hold on to things or people in our lives, sometime we holler we bawl, we kick and scream and try everything to make it work but +TD Jakes reminds us that “our destinies are not tied to anybody that left.”  Have you ever heard stories about persons who got redundant from their jobs but keep going back every day? That’s because those people have not learnt to let go, they do not understand that God has a better plan for their lives as such they keep holding on. They look at the difficulty in every situation and miss the opportunities that are there in the crises.

Ladies 1 John 2:19 tells us thatthey came out from us that it might be made manifest that they were not for us. For had they been of us, no doubt they would have continued with us.” Listen if you lost your job today, it wasn’t for you. If you lost a friend today, the person season is over. If your husband walked out on you, his season is over too. God has a better plan for you. By all means, if you have to cry, cry. If you have to throw a tantrum, throw a tantrum but do not try to hold on to something that is not for you.

+Winston Churchill said “A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty. “ Another author +Rahm Emanuel encourages us to  never let a serious crisis go to waste because it's an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.

Ladies tell yourself today, that nothing just happens, God has a perfect plan for you and all you have to do is look for the opportunity in the crises.

Have A God Filled Day Ladies

Let’s Pray,

Mighty God, thank you for the having a plan for our lives, one that that will cause our future to be hopeful. Thank you Jesus that we do not need to worry about tomorrow because you have our lives and future in your hands. Lord, help us to trust these plans knowing that you will make a way of escape for us and that you work all things together for our good. Help us to let go of the people and things that needs letting go and give us the strength to hold on.

In Jesus Name

Amen
