Main Scripture: Unjustly condemned, he was led away. Isaiah
53:8 (NLT)
Song To Meditate On: Above All –

Today’s reading refers to Jesus Christ, the Jews plotted,
schemed and put Christ to death because He did things that they perceived wrong
or things they did not agree with. They condemned Him and eventually killed
Him.
In many respects we are like the Jews, many times
before we even find out the full story we do not hesitate to condemn and pass judgment.
Some of us will even cast the stone to kill given the right circumstances.
The fact is sometimes if we stop to find out, we
will find that the ones we are condemning are being unjustly condemned. In
Jesus’ case the Jews cried “kill him, kill him” because a very good case was
made by the leading priests, however, they did not give Him a trial so that he
could defend himself. Verse
10 of Isaiah 53 tells us however, that “it was the Lord’s good plan
to crush him and cause him grief.”
As a result of Christ dying on the cross we have access to eternal life,
He gave His life as an offering for sin so that many can be counted as
righteous.
For those of us who find ourselves on the side of
condemnation; remember that the Lord has a good plan for all of us. What you
are going through is nothing new to Him and this thing that seem so horrible
now will make you stronger in the end. It will build your character and work
out in your favour.
If you are quick to condemn, ask God to help you
to change, remember that “words kill” and the one you kill may just be your
own.
Have A God
Filled Day Ladies
Oh Lord, our heavenly Father, the one that sits high and look
low, we thank you for mercifully saving us from our sins even though you were
unjustly condemned. Lord teach us today to be more like you, help us to look
beyond the faults of others. Help us to be slow to condemned and quick to
forgive. For those of us who are being condemned or have been condemned,
strengthen us and help us to forgive.
In Jesus Name
Amen
