Main Scripture: “Take a good, hard look at your life. Think it over. You have
spent a lot of money, but you haven’t much to show for it. You
keep filling your plates, but you never get filled up. You keep
drinking and drinking and drinking, but you’re always thirsty. You put on layer after
layer of clothes,
but you can’t get warm. And the people who work for you, what are they getting out of it? Not much— a leaky, rusted-out bucket, that’s what. Haggai 1:5-6(MSG)

Song to Meditate On: Never Give Up-

Lying deep within each of
us is purpose, something that God has placed in us that needs to be fulfilled. All
our talents, resources, knowledge and experiences were given to us by God so
that purpose can be fulfilled. Many of us however are caught in the trap
of just living, living aimlessly without ever knowing why we were placed on this
earth.
On the other hand some are aware of our purpose however we live up to the expectations, demands and pressures of family, friends, employers, clubs, churches
and school. In doing this however, there is a void, a lack of satisfaction. In
your heart you know that there is more to you than this, you know that God has
a higher calling and purpose for you. You took the job, networked, did the
degree because it would be a stepping stone to fulfilling your purpose however you
have become complacent. You are comfortable, further it is too much risk if you
leave now and God is using you here anyway. All good excuses but the void
remains and satisfaction never come.
It was the same with the Jews in the book of Haggai. God gave them an assignment to finish the temple; instead they focused on other priorities and did not get the task done. As such the Lord told them to consider their ways; everything else that they did was not fruitful because they did not do what God gave them to do.

Today you might be discouraged, dissatisfied or depressed despite having a "great" life. That's because God's plan is not being fulfilled in your life. Ladies I implore you know thyself, consider your ways. Return to God’s original design for you, the task might seem daunting, you may have had many disappointments on the journey but remember that God's resources are infinite and he will provide the encouragement and resources you need to get the job done.

Accept thyself. Love thyself. No matter what you have done, where you have
been, know, accept, and love who you are”. Iyanla Vanzant

“Life is filled with unanswered questions, but it
is the courage to seek those answers that continues to give meaning to life.
You can spend your life wallowing in despair, wondering why you were the one
who was led towards the road strewn with pain, or you can be grateful that you
are strong enough to survive it.” J.D. Stroube
Have A God
Filled Day Ladies
Let’s Pray,
Great and
Merciful Father, thank you Lord for giving us a purpose. Thank you Lord that we
do not have to live aimlessly never fulfilling that which you have placed us on
this earth to do. Lord I pray that you will teach us to examine ourselves, show
us the path that you want to take as we depend on you to take us there. Father
be glorified in our lives.
In Jesus Name
Amen
